probably this one for me - mainly because i think it's the shot that really made me take a bigger interest in photography. It got loads of views on flickr and was published on a couple of websites and is even on the back of my business card :)

SP that's awesome, I'm also intrigued to the processing :)

(btw, great username, my favorite band :D)

Has to be this one from March when Brechin played St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup Quarter final.

First time that Brechin City FC have been in the quarter final of the Scottish Cup in their history and the above photo shows Rory McAllister equalising for Brechin to take the tie back to McDairmid Park, Perth for the replay. Superb performance from the team and in particular from McAllister.

Oh and if i can sneak another photo in I'll include this one......

The above photo was taken by Craig Halkett and was published in the Scotland on Sunday the day after the match and in case anyone is wondering thats me with my camera :D

Hmm, if I had to choose one, probably this one:

If only for the fact I almost deleted it from the camera when I took it. It wasn't the shot I ran back into the hotel room for my camera and tripod for either - I was actually after the red moon that had disappeared behind the clouds. So I just figured, while I was out there, I'd just fire one off at the pier. It's not perfect - you can see evidence of the camera blowing in the wind if you look closely.

16 second exposure, 500D, 70-200mm f4L @ 100mm

edit - and I also must say, I'm pretty pleased with my progress as a whole considering this time last year I didn't even know what an aperture was and I only picked up a DSLR in February. :)

I have so many more pictures that are technically better and more thought with how it's composed, but I'm proud I got this shot:
