My Seagate Barracuda 3TB VS Samsung F3 1TB speed test

For anyone that maybe interested i ran this test on my Seagate Barracuda 3TB & Samsung F3 1TB hardrives

did you test with atto? i was getting 145mb read write on samsung f3 1tb,and 130 read write on samsung f4 2tb

good figures though for 3tb drive,you can see that teaming up with samsung has helped

I just started running a test with HDtune 2.55

I pretty much got the same results for the 3tb as the OP did ... about double the speed over my old WDAAKS drives (what they call their blue line now).

my only issue with these drives is they have a 'loudish' clicking sound when the drive goes into sleep mode.
