Afternoon
I thought I'd share my thoughts on current warecooling loops. I finally managed to find the one. 120mm rad fits on my CoolerMaster Storm Enforcer rear exhaust. Doesnt come in contact with anything, nor it prevents using 200mm MegaFlow fan on top to draw air in.
Read a lot of reviews before buying. My first buy was Corsair H80 Hydro. What can i say, noisy pump, 4 pin molex with 2 wires in, when you connect to a female, they come out, quality of that is terrible. Stiff pipes, rad is the same as on 920. sent back for RMA - refunded.
Second purchase was Corsair H100 Hydro. Rad is much thinner and spaced out onto 240mm. Not a bad quality, same as on 620. Noisy pump, its exactly the same as on H80. same stiff pipes and same ugly bad quality 4pin molex. Forgot to mention, there is a fan controller on both Corsair Hydro pump, you need to operate it manually, its like a button on it. USELESS. as cannot be accessed with case closed.
My last purchase was Antec Kuhler 920. Brand new, £52. Those of you that are familiar with pricing, will understand how much of a bargain that was. What can i say about 920. GREAT. AMAZING.
Rubber pipes, flexible.
quiet pump, cant hear it!
3pin power connector into cpu fan header, + 2 4pin splitter for 2 pwm fans. In my case i use akasa viper 120mm. there is also a single header usb to plug into mobo for a full control. Can even customise the Antec colour logo. One downside, and its only a minor one, its that on MSI z68-gd65-g3 i was not able to insert bracket at the back becouse one of the mosfet screws was preventing it. I used a red hot razor blade and sand paper to cut a tiny bit off, all fits perfect. Locking mechanism is also great, not sure what people complain about.
If you on the lookout for a watercooler loop for cpu, antec 920 is the one.
