I followed this guide to the letter (installation of ssd) http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds

Windows installed in 6 mins. Everything was going good untill I did some updates. Froze on Marvell 91xx.
Rebooted and tried to do some more when error ...\c is corrupted.
To cut a long story short....Tried erase, then format no joy.
This was on my newly replaced Asus P67 Delux MB B3.
Is it possible it was the MB as I installed it then the SSD? BIOS were default.
Intel ports set automatically to AHCI.

OK. Received my replacement SSD (ordered yesterday.) The only thing I did different was install win 7 from USB. Perfect. WEI 7.9. Glad I waited this long to go to SSD. Now what am I going to do with my other 10 mechanical HDD....

It's the same with any storage media. There's a possibility of getting a duff drive. Happens with mechanical too. Glad you got it sorted. Welcome to the SSD revolution :p
