The HZ27WA and HZ27WC are Hazro's new line of WQHD resolution monitors built around LED backlight IPS panels. Featuring a 2560x1440 resolution [WQHD], these monitors are ideal for creative professionals and gamers who demand nothing but the very best. IPS panels are preferred for their superior true color values, the most consistent image and a superior viewing angle as compared to other LCD technologies.

The HZ27WC features the same high resolution LED IPS panel found in the HZ27WA without scaling functionality. Video content bypasses scalers making the HZ27WC ideal for gaming and multimedia video production. The superfast 6ms response [grey to grey] minimises streaking and ghosting resulting in visibly less smear and blur around fast moving objects.

These are really nice monitors while they are working. Mine lasted less than 3 weeks and I'm not an isolated case. I was lucky in some respects because mine failed within 28 days which meant that OcUK arranged collection and refunded my money. If it had happened after the 28 days then I might have had to deal with Hazro directly and they're not known for the quality of their customer service.

Yes, I know there are lots of happy Hazro owners who haven't had problems but when you spend £400 on a monitor (even an IPS monitor) you don't expect it to be a lottery in terms of whether you get a "good" one or not.
If I wanted to gamble on quality/reliability then I would have spent £250 on a Korean import.

I actually paid £420 for mine. I confess that when I saw this thread I was tempted, so I opened the product page and read the most recent review from Enio in London. I'm not tempted anymore.
What was I thinking. Enio's Hazro lasted 10 days :(

Went through 2 in in 9 months. The second one had to go back to Hazro for repair, it took 2 months and they ended up giving me a refund. Bought a Dell, no regrets. Really can't recommend these.

Please don't tell me this thread is the reason the other 27" thread is closed...

I just noticed this.

Seems the Yamakasi thing has been affecting sales. Seems a bit crappy to lock the thread but I suppose its always been against promoting business elsewhere.

Looks to me very similar to some of the korean offerings.
Has Hazro's diabolical CS improved?

Any info on the other forthcoming 27" IPS panels?

You can deal with OcUK for the 3 year period so zero cs issues but in answer to your question yes they have improved.

If you want the best you Pays your money and buy Dell, if you want a good value alternative with 3yr UK warranty Hazro is a great alternative.

Yes I closed the other thread, said over a month ago I'd leave it open even though it broke all our rules, now Hazro is in stock the thread is closed. Afterall were not here to give competitors sales. :)

That's the sort of service we need, will be using that when I can video the intermittent problem with my Hazro. Don't want to be sending it back for it to be switched on for a day and it appears to be working fine.

Bought a 27" Dell from yourselves as I can't be without a good IPS for any amount of time.

Not, Just been told to deal with Hazro in reply to an RMA request through OCUK bought the monitor Oct 2011.

Have sent a request to Hazro and will report back on my experience with them.

With Hazro after 28 days it is dealt with by them. However we can sort it out for you but will take much longer. If a customer deals directly the issue will be resolved sooner for you. :)

OK no problem, I have contacted Harzo via the form on their website and I will try and sort it with them direct.

Will post the communication in this thread as I'm sure everyone will want to know what their current customer service is like.

it's cheaper on the main page!

how is it overclockers are charging 389.99 on the main page and 399.99 on the forum as if it's cheaper? It appears to be the same model!

new HZ27wb

I've received a message from Hazro to say the new anti glare HZ27WB will be with overclockers no later than next tuesday. Phew! I was beginning to think nobody was going to make quality 27 inch anti glare monitors again!

That's 24 hours and no reply from Hazro, with the exception of a webnote system there is no way to contact them on their site.

Anybody else had to contact them? How long did you wait?

Love mine!

Hello Hazro knockers!

Sorry for you guys/gals who've had trouble with yours
But there are some good stories out there.

"touch wood" !! Mines great, BF3 looks awesome as does Counter Strike GO.

Can't fault it

Glad for you, the one on my desk right now is fantastic however the one in the box waiting to back to Hazro is doing just that as they have not replied.
