Yeah they are monsters mate :)

I was gonna get the 60mm version the 420 but because i wanted all corsair fans i wanted to stick to the SP versions as the AF 140mm would be pants trying to push through the big rads

so the plan was get the 2350rpm SP120's and throw em on a fan controller but this Bitfenix one keeps stalling the fans for some weird reason so im gonna have to replace it with something else.

Looks great

When you get time could you post some CPU/GPU temps and build parts details.

I am interested in the before and after temps in particular the CPU. I have never used a custom watercooled setup so do not know a lot about them. I have been reading in the cooling section some of the posts as for my next build in a year or so time I may give it a go.

Cheers

Well i never had this CPU on air as it never came with a cooler so jumped strait in to water.

These are with an ambient of 26c

Idle temps of the CPU are 39c-32c-31c-31c-32c-36c and load highest gets to 54c on the first core, the rest are 50c or less.

This is overclocked to 4.6Ghz with hyperthreading enabled and with 1.32v.

GPU idles at 30-31c and loads at 37-38c.

These temps are after at least an hour idling.

In my rig i have used :

EK CSQ Res,
EK CSQ DDC top,
EK Supremacy CPU Block,
Alphacool 360 & 240 Nexxos Monsta (Full Copper) Rads,
Tygon Tubing 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD,
Bitspower 1/2" ID, 3/4" OD Fittings,
Mayhems Blueberry Pastel Fluid,
18W DDC Ultra,
Corsair SP120 & AF140 Fans.

Those Rads are big is that normal for a custom setup. Very impressive though.

Also did you have to mod your case a lot to get everything fitted.

Big rads are not always nessersry/possible in some loops, but so I have come to understand it the thicker the rad there is more options for lower rpm fans.
