Noooooooo! 1 point! (sobs uncontrolably)
And I had a couple of Hofbrau's I could have used instead too.
And an Augustiner with an impressive beer tap (but no bottle)

Goes away to drink REAL ALE to console himself.

Congratulations everyone.

edit
knock a point off me DJ and give it to seabiscuit pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
Don't do this though. That's the whole point of it is it's a gamble, and fun. And we definitely tried some beers (lagers) that I wouldn't choose normally. And they were nice. Especially the dark wheat beers. Kind of like a smooth stout or porter, but without some of the roasty harshness.

Get in! :D

I had aceface57's drink as one of my other options but considered someone else would be too amused by the guys on the label...

Got a week of beer drinking ahead of me from tomorrow evening once my dissertation is handed in so I can catch up on a couple of weeks of world of beers entries :D

Fixed the name Mrs_Seabiscuit, oops :) Quite correct Seabiscuit ;)

@PapaLazaru :D Yes you would have made all the difference if you hadn't picked the one you did. This is the beauty of when more play the bigger the impact on points, don't forget it is possible to enter a beer and walk away with zero!

@Ahleckz, I'm sure I will fear not :p

Oh, I drank my beer at a beer tasting event. The rest of the beers are listed in my picture (obviously).
I'm not a fan of wheat beers, I understand why people drink them (those who don't like beer, predominately) but for me they are pointless and lack any beery flavour. And when it does have a flavour, that is vile.
This beer didn't change my mind, at all.

I don't mind wheat beer myself, well apart from the fact it sneaks up on you and hits you a whallop! :D

Oh and I thought I was the only grumpy git here today :p

Beer ratings:

Salvator Doppel Bock - 88
Maisel's Weisse Original - 87
Hacker Pschorr Munchner Kellerbier - 80
Hacker-Pschorr Münchner Hell - 86
Warsteiner Premium Verum - 78
Flensburger Pilsener - 80
Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier - 98
Augustiner Bräu Lagerbier Hell - 92
Franziskaner Weissbier - 87
Krombacher Dark - 81
Huber Weisses Original - 88
Kaiserdom Pilsener - 77
Hacker-Pschorr Münchner Hell - 86
Flensburger Gold - 80
Warsteiner Premium Verum - 78
Franziskaner Weissbier - 87.

The Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier is rated very highly, I'm sure that I've had it before and didn't think it was that good but could be mistaken (plus my above moan about wheat beers may have something to do with this) so going to endeavour to drink it this week.

All round, some pretty high ratings which was expected with Germany who are very well known for their beer. However, I'd still argue Belgium make better beer (but for me America is where the best beer is coming from today). The lack of a fair few ratings just shows how diverse German beer is, and there are still many beers out there that few people have tried. If that says more about the beer, or marketing, I'm not sure!

Incase anyone was wondering, if you see 'Hell' or 'Helles' or something like that on a German beer it means 'light'. This is referring to the colour, rather than calories/strength.

I really quite enjoyed my entry, I tried very hard to find some Hacker Pschorr Octoberfest marzen but as to be expected stock sold ages ago!
Drinking lots of German beer has made me want to go there on a long weekend again.
