I've actually just sold my macro lens

I rarely used it though, so just couldn't justify keeping hold of it (that and a surprise bill to pay!). I've still got extension tubes and a Raynox 250 to play around with though

Just had a look back over the first few pics when I got my macro lens. Should have probably got some more dof but I was even more noob than I am now so I didn't lol

I was wandering around the garden to see if there were any ants and I found a little congregation of them. It took a little while before I realised what they were doing there... Dismantling a dead moth lol

The min focus distance on the 18-200 (nikon) lens is great. Infact its far better than pretty much every other zoom lens I've ever used on both sides of canikon!

My 70-200 F2.8 has a very nice minimal focus distance allowing some rather nice DOF abuse. Also helps that its VERY sharp
