Not sure if you could call this macro, but I thought it fit best here. I decided to set up a little water droplet studio for the first time in my study since everyone was at the pub. Colour was added in post.

First signs of insect life in the garden. Was like a big kid finally having an insect to caoture with the macro lens

I don't own a Macro Lens so I just look for giant insects, like this Hawk moth

Atm I live in Oregon. The hawkmoth was taken in yosemite, California.
For me photography is typically about capturing beautiful places and wonderful animals, the brilliance of nature. I want photos that transport the viewer to scenic vista or show exquisite beauty of the world we live in. Hence I travel a lot for my photographs.

And you do a fine job of showing how exquisite nature is.

Wish I could travel far more, but at least I got Costa Rica coming up in less than two months
