Hi Guys

We all know that dust sucks.

High end computer hardware and dust do not mix.

Dust leads to heat
Heat leads to component failure

check out this video that explains how easy to use DEMCiflex filters are.

we stock a massive range of DEMCiflex

CHECK THE FULL RANGE HERE

Will you be stocking the custom filters made specifically for cases or just generic sized ones? I remember because I had to get them in from South Africa for my 650D.

Top Mesh
Front Mesh
Side Mesh

They are fantastic filters though, apart from having to clean them weekly there is no need to buy aerosol cans because if you have all the intakes covered they trap a heck of a lot of dust.

I just bought some of these, they arrived yesterday. Brilliant things. I needed a dust filter that didnt screw in, and these worked perfectly!

These sound quite handy.
Its well...a dust filter (duh) but a one you can attach anywhere you like (with a flat surface), awesome!

Bought some of these filters (120mm square) last year, they do a great job of keeping dust out. Great to see you have expanded the range, might even be tempted to buy the set for my case now you stock them.

Dust is an excellent thermal insulator.

While the Lunokhod 2 lunar rover was traversing a crater its photovoltaic lid scraped the side and became covered in dust, when the lid was closed for the night the dust fell onto the radiators and the next day it overheated and failed.

The point is if dust can scupper a multi billion pound space exploration device it can cause havoc in your computer, buy these they rock :P

I appreciate the point the video is making out but £72 for a set of filters for the NZXT Phantom?

I don't know seems pricey to me. Are they really that good?

There's no way they'd ever be £72 good. Dust build up is gradual, I'd personally just prefer to clean the computer out once in a while.

Could this replace the antec 1200 filters on the 3 intake fans on the front Rich?

potentially yes. in honesty, they are much finer than the ones on the 1200 so could potentially impede airflow a little more than the stock filters.

as mentioned, on the antec 902 and 1200, they needs to be cut a little to fit well

i totally agree with you. the whole range is highlighted on TWO every so often as they are a brilliant seller for us. most people dont like to buy the whole case kit and prefer to cover the main vents with a 120mm filter etc.

but the kit is there as an option for those who want the whole shebang

Perfect! I have an open fire place and the ash from it is a pain. I am currently taking my PC out to the airline in the workshop every few months and blasting a lot of dust out the radiator. It drops the temps by 10 degrees each time I do, but it is a problem because I have a Corsair 800D and it weighs a tonne.

Long coveted one of these for my side intake but always forget. Next time.

Btw, anyone else find their urge to kill rising while watching the video? Or is that just me.
