** DUST SUCKS **

If your currently as broke as me, you can always steal the missus tights =) work really well and disposable too, just put whole fan inside, cable tie the end and hey presto, filters once on intake side and once on exhaust.

cheap in short term, but wouldn't recommend it long term

Naked civil servant

I remember a quote from the film "The naked civil servant" which was "... after 5 years the dust doesn't get any noticeably worse".

That dust remover pictured above looks handy - I tend to use about half a can of compressed air up every 3 months.

A little pricey maybe, but they offer great peace of mind and if you split the price into the years you'll own a case, which lets say is 4/5 years on average, it's really not that bad when you look at it that way :)

Don't think i'd be able to bring myself to spend £44 on dust filters for the 600T personally. Especially when the only place I suffer from dust is on the front filter which isn't the greatest quality in the world.. Would potentially invest in a single filter for the front though, just need to find the right one. Was thinking making my own out of foam or something like that just haven't gotten round to it yet. Any idea if any of these single filters would be ideal for fitting onto the front of a 600T? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/search_results.php?sortby=&groupid=&search=demciflex

They are pretty much the same thing as http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-000-SV
Except they come with strips to attach the fan to non-metal + the mesh is supposed to be better...doesn't exactly warrant double the price (for the simple 140mm and 120mm ones) that is.
I'll be getting one of the silverstones for the back of a prodigy build.

errr no they are not, the amount of dust the demciflex trap is like chalk and cheese in comparison. Unless you've tried them both don't make such false statements.

If you read again, i did say the mesh is supposed to be better, which it most likely is, still wouldn't spend the extra on them.

I wasn't having a go, Maybe ocuk can send stulid one to put over the intakes of a cpu rad in push, pull and see how much dust it traps compared to other offerings.
