Urgh a difficult home game on tv :(

Plus a couple of our key players have "knocks", Shaw and Clyne might be out (and Forren not back up to fitness).

Tough game Sunday, cant really afford to rest anyone but also have Real Madrid coming up on the Wednesday, Given Fergie said Young's back I'd probably go with this against Everton...

-------------De Gea-------------
Rafael---Vidic---Evans---Evra
Nani---Carrick---Giggs---Young
-------------Rooney
---------------Hernandez

Subs: Lindegaard, Jones, Smalling, Anderson, Kagawa, Valencia, RVP

Then against Madrid go

---------------De Gea---------------
Rafael---Ferdinand---Vidic---Evra
---------------Carrick---------------
-------Cleverley----Jones-------
---------------Kagawa---------------
----------RVP---------Rooney----------

Subs: Lindegaard, Evans, Anderson, Nani, Young, Welbeck, Hernandez

That's only 5 outfield players playing both games. Like I say that's what I'd like to see, what's more likely to happen is that Valencia and Anderson start in at least 1 of those games :/

JT out for Wigan with inflammation of the knee but Ba and Cech are available. Ba with the mask he had fitted in Italy:

Update: David Luiz is also available.

I'm not looking forward to the trip to Sunderland. Every time I've been the games have been awful and freezing cold!

We never seem to perform well there and can't see us winning tomorrow. It'll probably end up as a draw. Sunderland will have 10men behind the ball at all times and hit us on the counter or score from a set piece.

I can't see Spurs dropping points at home to a Newcastle team that has been abysmal on their travels.

I can only see the gap with us and Spurs getting bigger this weekend :(

We will look likely to win it then the toon will score 2 at the end. Mark my word.

Tough game for Newcastle, we played our best football last weekend in a long time. But we just never play well when we travel to London! Tiote is back so I hope he starts to play like he did last season with all these better players around him. What a formidable midfield we will have!

Krul
Debuchy - Taylor - Colo - Santon
Cabaye - Tiote - Gutierrez
Sissoko - Cisse - Gouffran

Hopefully those who played midweek internationals have got enough to give for 90 minutes, as we will need it

Don't fancy our chances tomorrow for some reason, would happily take a draw!

Only thing I would swap in that lineup ross is Sissoko with Guti then Guti off for Marveaux!

Get in!

Watford 1-0!

2-0. Too easy.

....such a shame to see Palace losing badly

:D

I really want Watford to get promoted, missed Watford away last season (like an idiot as I didn't realise tickets where on sale) and want to go again.

Or for us to go down and Watford to stay down, either is good... :p

Watford are easily the best team I have seen down here this season. Milwall were pretty good as well, but Watford were just far too good for us on the day. Their counter-attacking was awesome, and their pace up front was too much. I hope they get promoted along with cardiff as well.

edit- Kevin Phillips coming on!

Well that was my first 45 minutes of seeing Zaha in action, didn't see the first half but he carried a threat throughout the second, every Palace attack went through him so he's obviously their main danger man but hard to tell on the basis of one half of football as to whether he's ever going to be good enough for us, somewhat promising signs though (almost created the winner for Palace but Phillips snuffed the chance)

Guti was far stronger last week even without the goal, and defensively you've got Santon(assuming he's fit) against Lennon/Walker who pace wise will give him trouble. I certainly wouldn't be sticking in Perch for extra defensive help , Gael or Anita right wing in a 4-4-2, Guti left and Sissoko playing behind Cisse is probably the best way to fight Bale/Lennon on the wings.
