I feel like buying a gun today. What should I get?

Thinking about either a S&W 686, Ruger GP100, Sig 226, M&P or an Enfield Mk4.

Chunky silver revolvers are uncool. Sigs are boringly modern, surely? Purchase a good old-fashioned Lee-Enfield and shoot like a sir. They are beautiful slices of history and, by all accounts, have a wonderful and innovative action. I bet they are quite cheap in the states, too. If you buy one do a vid for us wannabes!

Edit: I am slightly biased as I'd love to own an old specification deactivated SMLE or the Number Four model. One that could be cycled and stripped. Sadly, the (approximate) price tag of £400 is a bit steep for a purely decorative item.

Hell no!

Can we see a picture of your current arsenal Kwerk? Just so we know what we're dealing with and where you may be able to strengthen out certain areas.

They are like Desert Eagles, man. Just big ol' hand cannons for the empty of pant.

I'd personally go for a nice bolt action rifle, or if the budget allows maybe a semi automatic like an old gewhr (sp).

If its just for decoration or looking cool, I can't really see the point, but it'd be nice for hunting or or target shooting.

Pistol wise, I think the Colt 1911 has great character for a gun over 100 years old! On the more modern front the Heckler Koch is a nice piece (hk45) or for full out the ostentatious Glock 18.
