I was playing iRacing happily in a race (typical) screen went all corrupt had to restart, after restarting I got about 20 times in a row... "your display driver stopped responding and recovered" while colours were going all wierd then "your pc has a problem and needs to be restarted"........

now every restart the same problem "your computer ran into a problem and needs to be restarted" after about 10 of these windows decided to turn the GPU off and says it cant start due to it reporting problems.

i've tried reinstalling drivers and i get the same problem i am now sitting here with my 460GTX backup running perfectly.

never had a GPU go on me before and typically it was a "B" grade i bought in January, I will have to call OcUK tomorrow to ask about warranty :(

Sorry to hear :( Could you please go here and let them know. It seems quite a few people are having problems with these 320.18 drivers and some others have reported it has killed their GPU and it would be better for more people to let them know they have issues.

Make sure to give your complete system specs as well. Luckily you have a warranty :)

Edit:

Sorry but seeing your IK+ signature brought back some happy memories. (wrong time to mention it I know).

Cool.

Just out of curiosity, did you try reinstalling older drivers (320.00 seem to be pretty good)? If not, whilst your 460 is in, install those drivers and then pop your 670 back in and see if it works please.

Edit:

Andy beat me to it :)

The 320.00 drivers seem to work in the same way as 320.18 so if there is a problem with one there could be a problem with the other.

Edit

Something I noticed just browsing the web using 320.18 was when opening a page like the main OCUK forum page, when the page opened all I got was a black screen until I pressed refresh. On other sites going from link to link I would get a blank white screen. After changing to 314.22 all was well again.

Plenty of reports of dead cards around tbh, it was only a matter of time before we had a few here. Look on the plus side though, you might get a better overclocker.

Just looked at my reliability history you can see where i installed the driver and the death of it.......

Sorry to hear that mate. I went back to 314.22 yesterday, I was having no issues with 320.18 but there are just too many reports of problems to risk it.

That's twice now Nvidia have released drivers that make cards go pop, not even counting the 590 launch driver!

+1

The only time I would use these drivers now, is if I had a bad clocker or an older gen card (4/5 series still with warranty).

Yikes. Nvidia need to get these drivers pulled asap.
