right folks, anyone got their Pentium K yet?

how did it clock for you?
what sort of voltage are you putting through it to get that?
and what sort of cooling do you have it under?

mines is currently dispatched due to be here tomorrow, I sense a quick build coming on

I have one due for delivery tomorrow along with the Asus Gene VII MB. Probably wont get a chance to install it until Saturday though. Will post my results here.

First game of Black Ops II online and its not great at 1440p. Frame counter is good at between 120-180FPS but it gets very juddery despite that.

My boys PC with Pentium Haswell was like that until they un-parked their cores. Stupid that cores get parked on a dual core

Mine came today; but oooo look "Today Only" and they are under £50

Found a Gigabyte B85 board which I have flashed to a BIOS that will support this chip, but will this board be any good for clocking?

Which board? The wifes pc has a Gigabyte B85M-D3H in it and that has a full selection of overclocking options. It easily clocked my 4670K to 4.4Ghz with just a quick multiplier and vcore change.

Not sure. Thats below the D3H and has no cooling for the vrm's. The only way to be sure is to give it a try but keep a eye on those vrm temps.

Ordered mine now, I've got an MSI Z97 Gaming 7 board and a Corsair H75 waiting for it so hoping to get some good clocks. Unfortunately I wont be able to build it just yet as I'm still waiting for the Phanteks Enthoo Pro cases to be released
