I might keep an eye out for this.

These chips seem to do pretty well considering I have seen them as cheap as £46 new, amazing value, seems strange from intel lol.

Last CPU I bought for ~£46 was an AMD Thoroughbred 1700+ another prime overclocking chip from 1466MHz to 2400MHz :) so right price IMO.

Looks like you've been pretty unlucky with yours Tonester, most seem to be doing much better. Hope you have better luck with your next one :)

I'll be honest and putting it down to PEBKAC. I've not been in the real overclocking mood lately and it was spur of the moment swapping over chips and having a little play. I'm sure i've done something slightly 'special' and others will get better out of the same chip.

That being said, GENE VII and custom water.
Moving the GENE over to an Aerocool DS case this weekend and will have my SOC-Force to play with for the next chip ;)
