US: Marco Polo

It goes well

It seems to have a mix of everything, great visuals, great action/martial arts, some boobs, some interesting characters and production value and casting quality seems to be high up.

I binge watched this over the last 3 days. I felt the setting was very interesting, not something I had seen in a tv series before. Some of the back drops were stunning, I would have liked to have seen more of the scenery.

Something which felt a bit odd was how quickly characters seemed to travel around the different points of interest so it was difficult to grasp how quickly time was passing. Similarly on reflection there did not seem to be any evidence of the change in seasons.

I felt the majority of the actors did very well, the big man and his councillors especially. My favourite character by a mile though was 100 eyes, both his dialogue and action scenes were terrific.

I preferred the last 5 episodes to the first 5 as it seemed to take a while to really get going. It looks like there are plenty of strands set up to carry on next series and I am looking forward to it.

6th episode in, brilliant. I may be biased somewhat (it's in the name :D) and am glad how things turned out.

That wrestling girl, blimey

Also, I want Marco's hair, no homo :p

Began watching it on Friday, finished watching the lot on Sunday. I was hooked from the first episode. It isn't the perfect flick but the costumes and fight scenes more than make up for any flaws. Yes, that wrestling girl is simply gorgeous :D

I might give this a go since it's on Netflix, and has boobs (but I still refuse to refer to myself in the third person because of the boobs Mr Petey :p). I do enjoy a good binge watching and was doing it long before it was called binge watching.

Kublai Khan is such a great character, the actor's performance is brilliant. I don't think I have ever watched another series where I completely agree with what the character does and the reasons he gives for doing it because he does it with such conviction.

I binged watched 4 episodes yesterday whilst in recovery mode. It is pretty a non-engaging drama with beautiful scenery but an awful script full of cliche. It's a shame as it's a very interesting concept but unless the writing improves it will be a dead duck.

I'm sorry but even boobs is no excuse for referring to yourself in the third person

Not even for fun?

Petey is saddened :(

The Dread Pirate believes Uncle Petey's approach is admirable and must be employed!

Enjoying this so far just done episode 3 not got any further as I'm only watching it when I'm taking a break from Dragon Age Inquisition.

I watch all 10 episode at the weekend I thought I was very good indeed, and for actor playing marco polo who has never spoken or learn English before to learn it and speak that good, while in production :)

I do hope netflick pick it up for another season.

The Khan finished the last episode last night. The Khan enjoyed it greatly and feels proud to be a Khan.

Also he needs 5 wives now...
