Windows 8.1 with November Update (Update 3)

Just an FYI the ISO for this are on MSDN now, it is nice to see that they are finally releasing updated ISOs with the latest update rollup included.

Has anybody used the recovery media download tool in the last week or so? Do those ISOs also include Update 3 / November Update?

Safe to use a torrent, just check the hash file and then google it to see the results.

After installing, Windows Updates shows 21 important updates totalling around 383 MB, and 8 optonal updates totalling around 48 MB.

That's good, better than 146 updates over a gig with 13 optional updates.

It did with my build, had to install it a few times last week. I need to learn how to intergrate all these updates. It's getting as bad as installing Windows 7 now.

installed windows 7 last week and firs got 194 updates which downloaded and installed, after the reboot there was like another 15 updates.

its getting beyond the joke when you have to get this many updates each time

Installed Windows 8.1 last night off a standard disk and the first pass was 75ish updates with about 4 optional.

Yeah update 3 is about 500-700mb on its own and I think update 2 was about 150mb so it is a saving of sorts.

I'm trying to combine the 32 and 64 bit versions into one ISO so they can go on my USB stick. The process looks the same as combining Windows 7 so far.
