RIP. His sense of humour and writing style is something I enjoyed hugely. To think that that is all the Sam Vimes there will ever be is sad.

I remember his documentary on assisted death, I wonder if that was what he decided to do.

I've not yet read his books, but I did see his documentary on Dignitas and Alzheimers, while its a shame he died, I'm glad he did before his condition deteriorated him to the extent he feared.

RIP.

RIP Mr Pratchett :(

Thanks for all the embarrassing genuine uncontrolled laugh out louds on busses and trains for many years.

In your honour, during the next thunderstorm I shall stand on top of a hill in wet copper armour and shout "All Gods are *******"

A local chap with a big heart and greater imagination. It was sad to him reduced to a wheelchair in recent months and he will be missed by everyone.

RIP.

Terrible news.

Looks like he died at home naturally according to that link.

I didn't think he would go ahead with Dignitas after watching his reaction in the documentary he did.

RIP
