Spotted these in the store moments before seeing this thread, clever stuff!

The biggest question jumping into my fuzzy head right now is, who are Intel aiming this product at?
Those simply wanting internet access and basic office packages in a space saving, large USB stick size?

Was going to get one of these from china, so nice to see them here. Carry a small bluetooth keyboard (or even use your phone) and you have a desktop anywhere. I assume that it draws all the power it needs from the HDMI??

Would love to see a 4gb version, if possible. Heck and one without windows 8.1!

So the 32GB version actually comes with an 8.1 license?

Any chance of getting the 32GB version without if so?

It'll probably be some Intel/Windows thing, so it's probably unlikely it'll come without Windows. And being frank, I don't think the price would be any different, the Windows license seems almost free given its spec compared to the Linux one.

Potentially a very good device.

IT has a usb power point so your tv could power it or you can plug it into the adapter to the mains.

USED one it can just about play quake at 1440p :D

Doesn't handle counterstrike source very well but should steam stream nicely.

Will be definitely adding one to my TV downstairs :)

How about the original Unreal Tournament? Could be a portable Zeroping Instagib DM stick! :D

doubt the frames will be high enough for insta gib but yeah it would probably manage it. :)

assume could use usb to ethernet adapter for more stable network connection, i.e. streaming 1080p?

Any one that wants a bit more functionality than those provided by chromecast/fire stick etc. i perosnally get sick of the battles between streaming services and these sticks. Having windows means you have access to all iPlayer, 4od, itv player, youtube etc

The way I see it, its a big boys chromecast. Can do everything chromecast can do as well as perform as a basic PC when needed, which is brilliant.

Would work well if you needed to do some presentations and stuff instead of having to get out a laptop, hook that up, you can just stick this into the HDMI slot of a screen and away you go. Control it with your phone as a touch screen mouse and away you go.

Won't be getting one straight away, will wait to see what kind of performance it gives for old school games (HoMM 3, Total Annihilation, Red Alert 2) as well as how it performs as a streaming device for 1080p content.
