despite trying everything i cannot for the life of me get this to overclock,

SOC- Champion x99 ( tried bios F4f, F4i )
i7 - 5820k
16GB 4x4GB corsair dominator DDR4
corsair HX850i PSU

everything i try is failing to boot and i keep getting the BIOS failure, i have even went so simple as to change the multiplier by 1......keeping everything else the same and it still fails to boot.

i have had the original board RMA'd and i have the replacement board today. still the same issue.

now im thinking its the CPU....

can ANYONE help PM me if you need to, maybe even phone me, £1500 on a rig that dont work is ****ing me off....

Lets do some basic stuff.

You have the 8pin and 4pin ATX connector along the top connected?

You have flipped the switch to take it from 2011 to he OC socket?

What speed are the RAM rated for?

What cooler?

sweet, many thanks dude :D

You have the 8pin and 4pin ATX connector along the top connected? - yes both

You have flipped the switch to take it from 2011 to he OC socket? - yes pos 2

What speed are the RAM rated for? - CMD16GX4M4A2666C15 = 2666

What cooler? - corsair H80i

You have CPU-Z downloaded to show the core speed right?

And have XMP profile set in the BIOS? again CPU-Z memory tab will tell it is at 1333MHz (times two as its DDR = 2666)?

Can you maybe post up the CPU tab and memory tab.

I was on F4i

Now back on F3y and just done a simple 4Ghz.

Some reason I cant print screen to my USB drive (something to do with the NVME SSD in it I think) so had to take mobile phone pics of what I set,

See above pics.

Obviously I have two more Turbo boost settings than you as I have a 5960X.

So I set 40X for the CPU ratios and the Turbos, disabled all the power saving crap at the bottom.

Went to voltages and power and set a Vcore and set LLC and phase control to max/high
