Hey guys, I know your thinking I can't possibly be starting to work on ANOTHER project log before insomnia, well i'm certainly going to try!

First a little background, this won't be a completely new build instead i'm moving the components from my primary gaming rig αclass into a new home and making a few additions in the process. The new home in question is Parvum's first retail ATX case, the L1.0, all will be revealed as the log progresses over the next week.

The main reason for using this hardware rather than starting another build was because it's all sitting ready to go, it's a complete system and i'm confident that everything works. So with any luck it will be quite a straight forward rebuild with none of the latency that occurs when trying to involve multiple sponsors. I'm very grateful to alphacool for immediately coming through with all of the 'extra' radiators required to fill out this beast to it's full potential, as well as a lovely bundle of fresh 13mm acrylic tube.

Just to make things a little more complicated, as of course just doing a complete rebuild in a new case isn't much of a challenge! I will be adding a third GTX780 Classified, a bigger PSU and some more fans. Because the AX860 was the biggest unit in Corsairs AX Platinum line, I will be switching it for a 1200W Seasonic which kind of shares the same pinout, except all the 8-pins are upside down. So there is some additional sleeving and modification on the to do list! So that brings the full specification up to the following...

Parvum Systems L1.0
Intel Ivy Bridge-E i7-4820k
ASUS Rampage IV Formula
ASUS Xonar Essence STX
EVGA GTX780 Classified x3
Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x4GB 2133C9
Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB RAID0
Seasonic P Series 1200W Platinum

Alphacool NexXxos ST30 360
Alphacool NexXxos UT60 480
Alphacool NexXxos Monsta 360 x2
Alphacool Hard Tube 10/13mm Acrylic
Aquacomputer Aquaero 5 LT x2
Corsair Quiet Edition SP120 x16
Corsair Quiet Edition AF120 x2
EK Supremacy EVO Clean CSQ Nickel/Plexi
EK FC780 GTX Classy Clean CSQ Nickel/Plexi x3
EK FC780 GTX Classy Backplate x3
EK FC-Bridge Triple Parallel
EK D5 Vario X-TOP Clean CSQ Plexi
EK RES X3 250 Black Acetal
EK RES X3 Multiport Top Black Acetal
Many EKWB, Primochill and Bitspower fittings

As i'm rebuilding my main rig which I use for to write and edit all of the project logs this one might be a bit weird. I will try to keep it current and of high quality but that may just mean a single picture update.

Straight in with Classified #3, a few of you reading should recognize this one.

Going to be needing some extra Classy blocks for the extra Classy, so overnighted from Slovenialand some EK greatness.

Sorry guys, no case just yet, but the first ever L1.0 has been cut, and it's waiting.

Well my rig is just sitting backing up, ready to be powered down for the final time before it's disassembled and cleaned. Catch you all soon, it's going to be a busy week. ;)

I'm not sure you guys are ready for the case just yet. :rolleyes: I suppose I will have to make this teaser exceptionally teaser-y

Looks like it's shaping up to be a bit of a beast. I wondered when those parvum chaps were going to do a full sized case. Looks like there's been some feisty banter in here as well. Hope it was all in good spirit. The ictures look great, ooking forward to seeing this one pan out.

Alright guys, huge update! I haven't stopped smashing out progress on this today, i'm way too tired for writing so you'll have to make up your own story from the pretty pictures. Infact I can't even be sure they are any good on this 768p laptop, but hopefully you'll manage ^_^

As insomnia has passed it's safe to assume that the build is finished and running properly, but before we get on to final photographs I thought I would quickly show all of the progress. Unfortunately as things got extremely fast paced towards the end I didn't have time for many photographs.

Literally just because the case can support so many fans I thought it appropriate to fill every available orifice, meaning even without push/pull in most places I added an extra 6 fans to the already ludicrous 12 fans that were in the build previously. Time constraints didn't permit sleeving every tiny piece of cable so instead I decided just to shorten some of the fan cables so they would go stealthily unnoticed.

0U1u4sdvRy2Myl1dOHe4VghamOvYo880-mCINDkhzaXd=w900-no

It was quite a simple task to snip off and re-crimp the fan cables, especially with my big arsenal of tools borrowed from work.

ueI1K8cVZVFDwgnUe-BoLSWAKZVl6Or7LUGsOoLfkzWo=w900

After a little test it was onto the 4 new SP120's for the front radiator, I used the screws to keep the cables in check and neatly tucked behind the radiator. Trimming each of the fan cables to finish in the same place.

WV8U2vawU6DJF-Y9vUseMUvTucjwzqeKDf7BtLRMGWXy=w900

Taking care of the cables which would be hard to access later in the build as I went along the next task was to complete the loop in the pedestal portion of the case. (did I not mention that yet?)

8jsF4H8R3e13yQOxkZSqYGmH1V24XjW9BK8qC3P8Kx72=w900

In the bottom there is room for a pair of 360mm radiators, basically as thick as you feel like, just to drive that point home alphacool sent a pair of their thickest 80mm NexXxos Monstas!

oAH9n6EVyU5u8o-waj56UanxHhANCcsOC1dqDYZPVzCv=w900

There is plenty of clearance for end tanks at either end of the case however placing them at the back was more convenient for this build, especially with the use of chunky radiators all round. Flexible hose made the whole thing easy to assemble and will allow the whole thing to be pulled apart in the future without draining the loop.

S4AZJmTR_2sQ1R-2S5YO6e2HxsZ0u0jj0dwf_ix1WC22=w900

Again for ease of maintenance and assembly I chose to alternate between radiator and fan screws making it far less fiddly to put things together and at the same time allowing simple removal of the fans for cleaning.

Now with the rear part of the loop completed it was time to move onto the rigid tubing in the front. After a mad emergency pre-LAN trip to OCUK I had a few more sexy EK fittings to smarten up the first portion of the loop. As the pipe to the GPU's had to drop under the power connectors this seemed like the neatest way out.

I also extended and sleeved the pump, terminating the cable with a Seasonic peripheral connector.

zJNobitF4nltnzmlooOggDxXk4rhGVldaxHKkPpcQ5iu=w900

Now that a good half of the loop was dealt with that just left the complicated part!

794lOp4z4vkdejefnrrDhy35mXd5c3FTFcfP62Ai1SQN=w900

Thankfully 8m of Alphacool 10/13 HT Acrylic arrived with radiators!

CL02UH9yilvyq3417MKt6wDAHMoUKr9-6-eQCIIiSPsH=w900

...I think this might be the part where photography went out of the window as I worked through the night to get tubing bent!

But by the morning light tubing ermeged, full of lovely bright Mayhems X1.

All that was left to do was complete the cables! And it was at this point I discovered the AX860 pinout wasn't quite as similar to the Seasonic XP3 as I had first thought. Meaning aside the 24-pin every single cable I had needed to be de-pinned and re-assembled. Ontop of all the custom fan splitters I had to make, all the lighting and an extra pair of 8-pins for the third Classified.

ahBK6zGQ1U1NcoRDLnweX2ClxrENxyLpB4vBJTP_n63Q=w900

Inspired on by some early success with the 8-pins I downed the camera and kept working!

That is some A-class bending skills right there sir.

And that case looks like a lovely design.

Can't wait to see photos more from a distance Especially to see how the tubing flows compared to echother.

im really liking the red in this build , you have done a great job matching them .

now stop teasing and lets see this beautiful case in full

Really enjoyed seeing this build at i55 on Saturday on the Overclockers stand. It was a nice touch to have all three Parvum case sizes on show. It was also interesting to see what was inside the lower compartment as well. Excellent work as ever.

Made it to i55 and back with no problems! αclass 2.0's baby brother Chocolate Box went along too with imersa's crazy MSI build completing the family of form factors on OCUK's stand.
