I would have some more comment for this laptop and hopefully Gigabyte could make improvement:

1. Touchpad - The touchpad tracking is great, but taping and muti-finger scroll got problem. The single tap is not working sometime. I have been play around with the sensitive setting inside the ELAN tools but it doesn't really help. The situation is, sometime there are no action if tapping the touchpad. I could see the tapping is successful in the ELAN system tray icon (shows blue dots), however there are no tapping action taken. And also, the multi-finger scroll got some problem. The scroll keep slightly shaking/vibration when you hold your two-finger on the pad. The only way to get rid of the shake is that you touch your finger tips "harder" to increase the touching sensation area.... that's really trouble!

2. Spacebar - I think it is because of the mechanism inside the spacebar, tapping the bottom edge of the spacebar mostly fail to trigger the action. You have to tap it very hard at the bottom edge, or, change move your thumb and tap the center or top edge of the space bar.... it is frustrating!

3. The laptop don't follow exactly the sleep setting in the power plan and it keeps stay awake most of the time. If the OneDrive is enabled in (Task Manager> StartUp), the system will not goto sleep. If it is disabled, sleep function works properly.

I have updated my BIOS and all driver to latest, also update the win10 to 10586

DavidKwan,

I have just bought one of these myself recently. So just some additional comment I have found.
1.

I too had a slight issue with the Trackpad itself when I had it ( too be honest its not the best trackpad). I Haven't seen the same issue as you the problem I had initially was with the two finger scrolling while the backlight was enabled on the Keyboard. This caused the screen to flicker on and off as well as it not be very stable. Also the finger tapping wasn't always detected when using it.

This problem has now gone for me after I did some updates. I fully updated windows 10 to its new version reinstalled the touchpad drivers and reflashed the latest Bios. Since then I have and no issues with the Touchpad. I believe it was the windows update that made it more stable though. I updated the windows 10 to Windows 10 verison 1511, Os Build Number 10586.71 . As you have said you have updated the BIOS and have version windows 10586. Maybe try updating to 10586.71 reinstalling the touchpad and the BIOS again. Although I'm pretty sure it was the windows update to .71 that solved it for me

I don't have this issue with the spacebar on the keyboard at all it works flawlessly each time. However one of the LED on the Keyboard is out and flickers occasionally which is dam annoying. I'm in the process of getting a replacement keyboard from Gigabyte to solve this issue. Maybe contact Gigabyte about the space bar keyboard and see what they say I find their technical support excellent either directly on this forum.

3. I was also having a little issue when I initially had the laptop I just switched it from sleep to hibernate instead and this solved the problem. I just switched it to sleep mode now and don't have this issue anymore, I assuming the latest windows patch fixed this issue for me.

Initially I hadn't watched your video before I replied. After watching it I can say I definitely don't have that issue. Looks like a bad keyboard contact customer support see if you can get a replacement
