Hi there

We I shall keep this simple, NVIDIA are rebating our inventory until end of July buy rather large chunks particular on 980Ti and 980, 970 has had a little drop but as it is still selling like crazy not much of a move has happened here. OcUK has also done its own price drop on 960 with no support from NVIDIA.

This pricing should now be the lowest in the UK on each GPU:

GTX 980Ti from £399.95 Inc. VAT - CLICK HERE!

GTX 980 from £319.99 Inc. VAT - CLICK HERE!

GTX 970 from £217.99 Inc. VAT - CLICK HERE!

GTX 960 from £145.99 Inc. VAT - CLICK HERE!

This pricing absolutely dominates the market and stock will sell out very quick and with stock being low, if your considering an SLI upgrade, now is the time to act. :)

MeH.

Was bound to happen.
This is what the prices should have been like

Yes
And the new the 1080 after market cards should have sat where the 980 ti's where in the 1st place

but i doubt this will happen

Shots fired at AMD.

Lol seriously? hahaha

This it Nvidia kneejerk "lets grab some cash while we can as Polaris is coming", reaction...

It was bound to happen sooner or later, perhaps AMD are going to leak more info at the gaming show today and NVidia have caught wind of whats coming?

Who knows, but i get the feeling Nvidia are trying to sell off remaining stock in the channels while they still can, and i have the feeling Polaris is the main driving force behind this, Nvidia scared perhaps? ;)

This is normal for either brand in truth when a new GPU line is launched. I have been around long enough to see this happening time and again. I guess if you want to see it as panic selling, go for it but I will look at it as clearing older stock to make way for newer stock.

I wouldn't pay £400 for an 980ti when you can get the 1070 at the same or less cost, and most of the good cards are still priced above £400.

The 980 at £300+, no one is buying that.

Yep i tend to agree Greg, however at the mo they only have the 1070 and 1080 to sell, woulda thought they'd keep the 970 and 960 in place until they have something similar ready to ship?

Im an old cynic though and an AMD fan so i just think its a bit of a knee jerk reaction, also a bit of a speculator, and im wondering if AMD have a big announcement for E3 and Nvidia are just trying to spoil that party :)

Exactly. I remember last year when places were ditching all the 200 series AMD cards just before the 300 series arrived. Could pick up a 290X for around £200. I bought a Sapphire Vapor-X one myself for £210, although sadly it was faulty out of the box and had to go back. They had no stock left for a replacement. :(
