I am facing the usual problem with the misleading advertising of HDMI 2.0. I ordered a cable, which was rated at 21gbps and it can only do 4K@30hz when I connect my 4K TV with my PC. There is a lot of picture flashing at 60hz and many times no signal at all. It is definietly mis-sold and I will get back to the seller.

Can someone recommend a cable that can reliably perform the task at hand?

TV's don't typically have DP...

I know, and your sarcasm dots are noted.

But my Panasonic AX802B does...

It doesn't have a 10bit panel though so there's no benefit to using it over HDMI 2.0

And infact I use the HDMI for audio via my A/V receiver so the HDMI 2.0 is more useful to me.

Ok I now got a Amazon High Speed HDMI cable. Unfortunately Same problem. 4K@60hz is only possible with 8 bit 420. Even the RGB 8 bit is not displayed. While 4K@30hz output with all possible combinations of 8,10 and 12 bit with 420,422 and 444 working. I also tried the cable with the 4K monitor. The monitor is working fine as soon as I am on desktop but as soon as a game is launched nothing is displayed over hdmi 2.0. DP works fine. Now reading around it appears that there is a nvidia limit on consumer level cards. But that is suppose to be just affecting the 10 bit output. Since I can't even get rgb 8 bit working, I am very unsure that if it is nvidia or still the cable?

Yes Sli is working fine. I have already tried with Sli disabled. And I have set TV to enhanced hdmi mode. Since this problem is also replicated by my 4K monitor, TV is least likely to be a problem. Either it's nvidia or I am really unlucky with the cables.

Virus, I think you are confusing the 'YCbCr 444' setting on the Nvidia control panel with 4:4:4 chroma on the actual TV, they are two different things.

To enable Chroma 4:4:4 support on an LG OLED, first go in the 'General' menu, then enable 'HDMI ULTRA Deep Color' for the HDMI port that you are using. After, change the input icon to PC in the 'All inputs' menu, accessible thru the remote input button.
