this cpu can goto 3.12ghz (100x oc) my specs are Asus p5e vm hdmi,e2140 4,50w psu, 8gb ddr2 800mhz... trying to get to 3.0ghz from 1.6... black screen overclocking failed after certain fsb limit is reached, bios settings i can change,,, cpu ratio setting [auto,][8.0max] fsb strap to north...

Hello, A mate of mine is complaining his antique Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop is really slow. Specs are Pentium Dual Core T4400 @ 2.20 ghz. 3 GB Ram. 500GB HDD. Windows 10 64. I suggested replacing the original HDD with a 250 GB SSD but would it be worth it? Your help will be appreciated. Thanks.
