02 Contract Question ?

Hi Guys

I have a 12 month contract with 02 which i started in april ! All well and good untill i got my blackberry through work and now i simply do not need the £50 a month tarrif. I was under the impression i simply had to ring and downgrade a tarrif every 30 days but 02 are saying i have to wait 9 months. Is there a way around this ive tried going to there supervisor but have had no luck there either.

Its just a pain paying £60 a month on a contract that i never use .... Could get me a gym membership or something

This is very annoying, especially since i started on 45.00 a month tarrif and moved up after 2 months because i was going over my free minutes. Surly i should be able to downgrade to that :| I didnt re sign another contract as far as i was aware just wanted to up the tarrif.

Annoys me, they allow me to upgrade but when i want to go back down they wont allow it, its not like i want to cancel my contract :|
