02 CPW contract shifting to 02 queries

Will be ringing customer support later, but just wondering if anyone knows the asnwer to my problem.


I currently have an 18 month contract with 02 via CPW, and looking togo 02's simonly 12 month contract.

However are they classed as seperate entities, in that I will need to get a PAC code from 02@CPW?

If so, does anyone know how long you can restrospectively apply your old number (from CPW) to you new sim from 02? I know PAC requests expire 28-30 days, but just wondering if I order a new simonly contract, today, if I can keep my old number when my CPW contract expires at the end of August, of if the number transfer has to be done at time of purchase or within x amount of days of receiving.

Yes they are seperate entities and you will need to request a PAC code.

You will have to do the transfer at the time of buying the SIM.
