02 internet bolt on and edge

Hi Folks,

I bought the internet bolt on for my o2 payg sim today to use with my iphone. I have had the money taken from my credit but haven't got any access to the internet on my phone yet. Do I just have to wait and keep trying and eventually I will have it or do I have to set anything up anywhere before it works?

Also, I presume I can use the edge network anywhere? I'm hoping it isn't just available in certain areas of the country. (I'm in Manchester btw). Do I have to turn edge on and off like I have to do with wifi when I am not using it. I have my emails set up so I have to manually check for them.

It should be working already.

Go on http://www.o2.co.uk/services/ota4/select?cm_re=Navigation-_-left-_-OTA as most phones are listed and get the settings sent though.

If your mobile isn't listed go on http://europe.nokia.com/A4144889 and get the standard settings sent though from there.

Edge & 3g is not available everywhere yet so have a look on http://www.webmap.o2.co.uk/ for o2's coverage.

It will change to a edge/3g (if your phone also does 3g) automatically providing its available without you having to do anything.

That seems ok.

I get the message however - could not activate edge. You are not subscribed to edge.

I know that I only bought the bolt on today and so it could take a few days to work but when will I know, will it just start working? Or do I need to sign up or "subscribe" to edge after having paid for the bolt on?
