What's this DLM stuff I hear about? Should I use the BeBox for the first 15 days?

From what I've heard this isnt too good?

I thought with a attentuation of 42db you should get 9-10mbs
My attenuation is 31db on adsl max but with adsl2+ it will go up 1-2 db so i should sync between 13-14mbs.

The sync speed isn't that low for that kind of connection - probably not worth playing around with it for an extra 100KB/sec.

ok just got activated and my line attenuation using the 02 box is 31db and sync at 15,454 and up stream 1,308

wow a lot better was expecting 13-14 :-)

Nice. Stick the a GT on there and then ask to be put on fastpath and/or a 3dB profile (may need to tweak this back up)

I changed snr to 70% and sync at 12mbit now, happy with that.

well on the phone to 02 to see if they can put me onto fast path and they do not offer it.
Although my pings are sitting at 25-28 pinging bbc

They do do it - unfortunately this has only recently come in and not all the CS agents are aware of the recent changes.

All you can do is be persistant. It reminds me of the old days with UKOnline and fastpath/interleave arguments with CS staff
