Looks OK I suppose, but I wouldn't buy it. Too pre-riced'up and apparently it's even more lardy than the previous CTR.

same here, I really like the Old CTR, Dont know what there going for with this new model.

Possibly slightly better in black, but only because you wouldn't be able to see the "stylish" lines so easily.

I dont know they both looks nice in my eyes but the new one does have something about it that I much prefer to the old one

Why can't it be faster too? Surely Honda should be upping the ante with a new model shouldn't they? Instead they just have the same engine in a new (heavier) car. If it had 250bhp+ I'd be more interested in it.

Admittedly the engine is pretty damn amazing considering its NA, but that's not the point - there's just too much else out there now which is faster/more tuneable - Focus RS & ST, VXR, Golf GTI, etc.

You can always stick two fingers up to Honda UK in a year or so and import a JDM Type R Sedan.

The satisfaction of totally humiliating a UKDM CTR would be something else.

I think the new shape Civic really is something that you can't judge looks based on photos.

There's so much more to the shape that you can only see in the flesh. I hated the looks when I first saw photos, but when I actually looked around the car in person, it has grown on me a lot.

The 3 door looks good in photos IMO - so should look even better in the flesh if the 5 door is anything to go by

With the tweaks to the engine it should be less frantic and more usable overall. The thing that annoys me slightly about my CTR is when the full vtec kicks in it's quite mental in the wet sometimes spinning wheels , if it came in earlier then the power would build rather than come in all at once at the end.
