1.2k build?

The cooler, no. It will trouble the front 140mm fan attached to it though.
If the case allows for it, the fan can be raised up a bit, but you could avoid that by just getting lower profile stuff.
Doesn't have to be Samsung green or anything, though that would be ideal. Anything around Teamgroup elite or xms3 size would work well for example.

This o right? Somebody did say something about the RAM being to tall.

You don't need that cpu if you are only gaming. I would personally change it back to the i5.
Also Low profile Ram would be preferable as to avoid any issues if you wanted to fill up all the slots later on.

I would say either of these two, or the Corsair Vengeance that I specced.

I agree with lee on one point, 3570k, all the way.. You won't notice the 3770k if your just gaming.

Other point i disagree with, the Avexir RAM is not a problem, should fit easily. :)

So 30mm is alright but 40mm interferes. Who says size does`nt matter. :D

Ok, putting a TY-140 with lower profile ram (Avexir core) on the front of a K2 begs to differ though :)
Like I said, it will fit, but the fan will have to be raised.

10mm makes a difference :)

I know with the K2 and othe highend air coolers 40mm ram is alright, I assumed the Phanteks would be also. Just read a few more reviews and the 140mm fan is the issue.

10mm makes a difference

Said that to my GF, but she`s not having it.:D

:D

Yeah, if it was 120mm like the K2/D14, then no probs*. 140mm can be a pain in the bum (Don't ask your GF ;) :p).

*Even then, the front fan would still need to be raised slightly.

Your fans are the wrong way round on the cooler. They should be blowing upwards :)

You might want to route the cables behind the motherboard tray too. The guide holes are all pretty self-explanatory.

i love the gene board but the problem is that although it can crossfire you would need water cooling to do it imo.

the slot gap is too close for air cooling.

also sort out that mess lol, you have some top end components there!
