THE FINAL SPEC!

Verdict? Will it all work, that is all that matters!

As I'll be ordering shortly! :D

I reckon you should save yourself £100+ and get the x1900xt and use that money to buy a 20+ monitor :)

7950GX2 is total overkill for anything under 1600x1200.

impressive but my monitor eats yours for breakfast :)

dell 24" widescreen :P

if u spending that much money u might as well spend a shedload on the thing that u will actually be looking at while u are on your pc!

Yes change the graphics card to either a x1900 or 7900gtx, then change the monitor to a 20" widescreen.
Not sure about the DVD writer aswell, i have the same model and it can be quite noisy with some games (but almost silent with others  ).

Nice spec, but way OTT in my book. Twice the price for what I paid for mine... I mean, you might be able to add about, say, 25fps to my Oblivion average framerate at maxed settings of, say, 50fps, but is it worth it?

;)

I'd agree with those other peeps - get the cheaper X1900XT and upgrade to a 20" widescreen - I really miss the 20" screen of my iMac (but thats about all I miss, apart from Garageband)

Nice case though - glad you going for the silver P180 and not the black. Bloody big and a bugger to put together but awesome once sorted. The triple thick panels are very satisfying, though you could make them even more luscious with some good soundproofing material stuck to the inside. I don't like the fan on top though, and the front panel is a bit flimsy, but otherwise, nice one.

Have fun!

The P180 is a good case like you said, tricky to build in.

I wouldnt put any soundproofing inside the case its a menace to remove and it barely makes a difference to sound, but garunteed it will increase temps :)

oh and if your door goes a bit warped (dont think they ship these older ones now though) Antec will send you a reinforced replacement free of charge, and quickly :)

They've sorted out the door...? Cool! I may have to invest in one :)

yeah if youve got the original type with the black backside to the door panel, just email antec support with proof of purchase and explain the problem, and they will send you one out :)

10/10 for the customer support from Antec, the best Ive had to use yet tbh :)
