I've got little experience with overclocking, the core speed was simple enough, multiplier and a small voltage boost. Is ocing the northbridge a similar affair?
Results are all at 1080p with v-sync off, ultra settings. Seeing at least 50+ fps in most games rarely dropping below 40 which I'm really happy with.

This seems an appropriate thread to re open. I randomly decided to give the current AMD Ahci driver another shot since it has been updated to work in windows 10 and low and behold they have actually fixed the thing so its not constantly running the cpu at 50% with millions of interrupt requests.
Tested on the old Opteron machine on 790 chipset with windows 7 64bit. If its any better than the basic Microsoft driver is another matter, but I will keep it installed for now.
