ive been disabled all my life, and i can only use my left thumb for wasd & any other keys and its worked really well with my razer naga mouse. even won a few events beating normal gamers:D

i tried xbox controller no dice.. still hurts

however i have now have a trapped nerve in left shoulder aswell. so even using my thumb hurts like hell. specially if i jump its the same pain as breaking your arm but 24/7.... taken 2g of pharticamol and it doesnt even touch the pain.

so im looking for games i can play where i only need my mouse hand

any suggestions?

i thought of simcity any others?

Pretty much any RTS games should at least be playable - command and conquer, age of empires and the like :)

Dare I say it but even The Sims if that's your thing :)

Wouldn't it be possible to just get a mouse with loads of extra buttons and play FPS using it. Unless it's really something fast paced, for the most part you only use forward and jump as well as the mouse.

Probably not going to be of interest but most PS3 move games you just the 1 move controller. You'd have to check each game though

Like someone else said I'd try and get a mouse with quite a few buttons on which you can maybe map too wasd. Maybe even get something like this?

Looks like you could use it pretty well if you could find one with the thumbstick on the other side.

X-Com Enemy Unknown is playable with just a mouse, and highly recommended.

I broke my arm a few months ago, and just played X-Com, Starcraft 2 and Dragon Age Origins with the mouse(though DA:O was a little awkward).

buttons is not the problem.

if i play fps type game using my mouse i will still will get startaled? or twitch and be in serious pain.

my arm feels like its been broken every few minutes. it makes my arm that broke a few years back feel like a breeze.

to be clear, its only whilst my shoulder hurts, normally i can play games perfectly fine when its ok

Do you like p&c games? If so, stuff like Sam and Max are great and only require a mouse :)

Indeed, try the Monkey Island re-releases on Steam perhaps? Football manager if that's your kind of thing, Xcom. Civilization V, Total war games perhaps? just pause the battles when needed.

Paradox games e.g. Crusader Kings 2, Europa Universalis etc all can be paused at any time don't think you need anything but a mouse either, most have demos on steam too.

Sim City, but not up to date on it's myriad of launch issues are in being resolved, The Sims? Bioware games other than Mass Effect (providing you can actually bind pause to the mouse?) e.g. Kotor, Dragon Age Origins.

WoW? 'clicking' has some stigma to it but you could probably play it with just the mouse if you really wanted to, perhaps just give PvP a miss. Has a free trial also.

Turn based games like X-COM as mentioned are an obvious starting point.

You could probably play Faster Than Light as well if you pause it a LOT instead of using the key press shortcuts.

you can map qweasd to 123456 on your razer mouse, assuming q and e are strafe. works well for me!

most rpgs like dragon age etc you really only need 1 hand for i think
