In this link it says 2 years warranty for the seagate 1 TB HDD on the screen but when u click it it only says 1 year?

2 years through manufacturer?

The retailer warranty is only really relevant when dealing with poor manufacturers. In the case of things like Hard Disks, I'd always deal direct with the manufacturer. So basically 2 year manufacturer warranty would be my guess, without looking into the details.

Or it could just be a typo.

Yeah i thought it was a typo im sure its 2, WD is 5 years but Seagate are much more silent drives think ill nab one this weekend

I would say only 1 year due to being an oem drive
