10.7.3 is up

All my little niggles from my macbook air purchase fixed.

Excellent work Apple!

Next time dont do a microsoft and break it..

Update breaks compatibility with many USB audio devices; have had to use Multibeast (intended for those installing osx on generic PCs) in order to rollback the Apple HDA audio ktext. not happy.

That will teach you not to jump in with updates. :p

From what I've read, it seems that the combo updater didn't have the issues as the upgrade offered from Software Update. I now have a warm and fuzzy feeling inside because I always use the combo update, I never had any real specific reason to do so but I'm pleased I've gone down that path.

I updated from Software Update and didn't have any issues thankfully. I just wish they would figure out how to sort my damn wifi issues so I can start using my macbook pro like an actual laptop, and not like a crippled one!

Nope, mine was from the combo. Very annoying, just made all sound out of my external device crackle and sound like it was being played on speakers that had been thrown off a bridge.

Been putting up with the wifi problem for over 12 months, didn't even realise it was fixed!
Applied the update when it got launched but didn't read the changes/fixes.. saw this just and thought "oh yeah! Its not dropped out!" lol

Audio ktext stopped working with internal speakers again. Had to download the whole 10.7.2 combo update and extract the AppleHDA.ktext and manually replace the newer one.

Sigh. I thought driver issues and the like would be a thing of the past moving to mac.

It's a one off. I've never encountered an Apple caused driver issue in 6 years of using macs at home and supporting them at work.

No issues here on my uMacbook. Installed smoothly enough, took a year to boot back up but its been fine ever since. I'm still running off the first OSX install since buying the thing in 2009! So from the OS that preceeded SL, to SL and now onto Lion. I really should do a fresh install at some point.

I'm not sure how it happened but the software updates stopped loading after this update. I know I can update on the command line and this still worked but that's not the point. Applying the combo update didn't help so in the end I made a user account and everything is fine now. It was somewhat annoying migrating everything over however :/
