Rakim - Paid in Full

Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet

It's got a pretty good cast and all the scenes are ace. The Alfred Molina and Steve Coogan one is priceless, shame it isn't on youtube.

Bit too much gangsta stuff in here. Of course there are some outstanding gangsta rap albums, but not everybody who listens to hip hop is 13 years old 
Stuff like Ready To Die, Illmatic, Low End Theory and the Blueprint LP pick themselves. But I'd also consider stuff by Atmosphere, Sage Francis, Aesop Rock, Jedi Mind Tricks, The Beatnuts, Ill Bill/Necro/Non Phixion, Lupe Fiasco, etc. as being right up there.
