Thought I'd make this thread since I'm dying to see a good, well constructed movie again, and hoping to find some ideas here.
The type that leaves you thinking days afterwards.

Mine is (just incase you're in the same boat)

1. Glengarry Glen Ross
2. Lilya Forever
3. The Breakfast Club
4. Life is Beautiful
5. Pulp Fiction
6. Chocolat
7 Platoon
8. All the Rocky movies
9. a Walk to Remember (you'll be surprised how good this teenie love story is)
10. The Lost Boys

Any other "must see" movies?

Not a complete list or in any order, but some of my must see films are:

Requiem for a Dream
Man Bites Dog
Delicatessen
Dawn of the Dead (original)
Threads
Butchers Boy
Leon
Pulp Fiction

Most of the other stuff I watch are dodgy B-movie horrors.

In no particular oder here are a few of mine

Scarface - story about rising to the top from the bottom

Godfather trilogy - a lot of people didn't like the third one but I thought it was good, very emotional at the end

Requiem for a dream - really makes you think

Oldboy - one of the best non-hollywood films I have seen

Brotherhood - Another brilliant foreign movie

Saving private ryan - If this first 30 minutes of this movie dont make you 'think' about war and all that, you have no soul!

The monty python movies

The star wars trilogy - such an epic story.

Goldfinger - such a quotable movie and everyone has to see a bond film.
