This is more of a side project - most of my stuff is in a 19" chassis setup - but I've been playing with it in various forms over the last year or so and recently stripped it down (most stuff was shelf mounted) and started a build to possibly make it my main setup in the future - so this is early days without much in place and not final positions.
It is challenging, but I sourced a 10" rack mount switch (Digitus also does them) contrary to some who claim they don't exist - but supply is hit and miss due to the lack of demand. Still don't have something for my 10Gbe needs yet but that isn't a priority. I'm building a rack mount DIY UPS from scratch repurposing a cheap network switch enclosure (not pictured) and have other parts and or have them coming for cable management, etc.
Will likely make some kind of mount for the MeLE mini PC as well - mostly used for managing my backups - with it using the J4125 CPU it is possible to tune it for crazy low idle power consumption.
I'll also be putting something in there for running my game servers on - not decided yet due to some concerns over some issues with it but thinking of putting a Minisforum MS-01 in there and making a rack mount for it, though contemplating going for a custom mini ITX setup with something like a 7945HX instead or maybe the MS-02.
7" touchscreen mounted on the front for administration duties.
Older incarnation of it:
(I did have more stuff in it in between, HDD enclosure and Eaton UPS, etc. but unfortunately don't have pictures of that)
For home use I think I will be ditching 19" in the future.
