Would a Muslim country be OK with the continents biggest Christian church next to their countries planned biggest point of attraction?

Lets email Iran, I'm sure they'd be up for it? :p

** subject do said church having nuclear weapon production facilities

I voted, nothing against Muslims. I just do not wish my money to be spent on a religious building when there are buildings required that can actually really help people. such as hospitals, schools, museums and all the other 10 million things we need.

I would not be happy if they built a big church but at least Christianity is the traditional UK religion.

The Jedi in me would be happy if they built a Jedi temple. :p

Regardless of who is paying, I would still be against something like this of such scale being built in London.

It would be like a skyscraper being built in Oxford. Interestingly speaking of Oxford, there was a massive mosque built which can now be seen amongst the traditional and historic 'Spires of Oxford'. Whilst not having any problem of such a mosque built, its location is inappropriate.

The reason no one is voting is because Ken has a habit of veto'ing votes. There was a vote to install a tram line along the Uxbridge Road in London from the West End right up to Uxbridge, whilst at the same time disallowing (private) traffic on said road. This would literally cut West London in half.

Public vote was 82% against, but Ken said he would go ahead anyway. Googling for "Uxbridge Road tramline" gives info.
