I have to admit I did enjoy playing pool - quite easy I found, most of my opponents didnt
And my bowling high score is 150-something after 2 games - who can trump m (easily )...
My initial thoughts about this havent changed - could be a good idea, might be more than what we really wanted, so to me its Sony spending time where they shouldnt IMHO - fully expecting massive increase in content and support, otherwise this will bomb bigger than the PS3 itself...
Sony seem to be trying to make everything high-tech and web2.0 to get all the plaudits but seem to have forgotten that gamers are the heart of the PS platform...

What really grinds me is that the X360 live functionality is already there in component form (game launching in Home, Res2 has some awesome party controls and voice comms) so its not like Sony would have to spend too many resources to get it into XMB. I just dont understand why they are being so obtuse...

Agreed. I just can't see myself using it long term, maybe thats just me though. It's very 'second life' which i don't at all.
