100-400L dust

Has anybody else experienced dust collecting inside the barrel of there 100-400L. I have just noticed there is a big spot on one of the internal elements on mine. I'm guessing only canon can sort it out.

Advice on what to do next would be helpful, i've only had the lens for 4 months so this is just a wee bit more than annoying.
 
Ive just sold mine but I dont recall having a huge issue with dust inside. If I did it was only specs.

I think if you want to try and move it you could extend the barrel a little and insert a rocket blower into the rear element and blow some air around (prob wont do much but you never know where there maybe a small gap.
