Some info on the PSU would be good.

It would probably be either a 2nd hand 5870 (require two PCI-E 6pin), 6850 (require one PCI-E 6pin), or a 7750 (which is current fastest bus-powered card that require no additional power).

My older model 450W PC55 ran an HD5850 1GB fine,so if you have the newer version,then the HD5850 1GB will be OK.

If it worked with a 5850 with no problem, then I would suspect it to be fine with any card that only use up to two PCI-E 6pin.

For that price range and your expectation, I would think either a new 6850, or a 2nd hand 5870.

I'd vote for a second hand 570. I picked up one from the MM for £115 a little while back. Should be able to find one for £100
