Bro has decided he wants a new case. He is now running the Rig through his 37 inch LED TV. So wants something better looking in his eye line.

Budget of around £100. He'd like either a HTPC "amp style" case (not low profile) or a tower style case with window.

I'm looking through to see what might catch his eye. Be interested to see what you guys suggest. I realise a lot of it is down to personal preference but I'm open to suggestions

Thanks in advance

*edit* I'm aware of the cheaper cases but I think if the case has a window, cable management would be nice. To keep things looking tidy & helping the airflow. Oh and the mobo is mATX, thanks again!

Any bigger than this would look stupid with a mATX board

Cheers. I have shown him that one, as I said I'm aware of the cheap cases. Shame it lacks cable management. I can't see where it states the mobo size accepted on the descriptions which is frustrating....or am i just tired!

We found a "meh" looking media centre style case that is ATX spec for basically the same price as the 430. I'm thinking the Coolermaster Storm enforcer would catch his eye by it's styling.

Maybe people could show me what they've used and why they like it?

As above - the Antec Fusion is a solid case.

He'd like either a HTPC "amp style" case (not low profile)

Also, Lian Li do some stylish 'HTPC "amp style" case's' (timeless, clean lines design) but may be too low profile for his needs and the the larger ones are slightly over his budget (he will need to shop around) - but it may still be worth him taking a look if he's after an amp style design.

The Antec Fusion seems to get good reviews. It would be my personal choice for an AMP like HTPC. A little advice however. Avoid the cheapo OcUK Aphrodite. It's like the old computers I used at school that the CRT monitors sat ontop of.

It's massive, cheap and just generally absolute garbage.

Ha Ha! I remember those days! Is it me or did RM have the monopoly on "school computers" ;)

I have used the antec fusion cases before to make "dedicated" HTPCs, I think that's why he's mentioned the "amp style". I can't recall if it was "low profile" or not though, will have to check :/

Thanks for all the suggestions, he'll be round after work and I'll show him the thread. Also the video reviews were a nice touch......thanks again guys.

I've got a Silverstone LC10M with the VFD display in the front which I really like.

I'm not sure they make it anymore but still do similar cases.
