My PC has slowed to a crawl the last couple of days. I've been at pretty much 100% load all the time. The culprit seems to be "SQL Server Windows NT - 64 bit" which on its own is running from 55%-80% CPU load.

Any way I can find out what I have running that is using this? This is on my main desktop PC.

If you have CCleaner..

Tools, Uninstall.
Save to text file..

Paste the contents of the text file.

Something you have installed requires a local SQL server.

If it's a long list, have removal cull :)

Well, funnily enough, I installed the latest Windows Content Update this afternoon and it seems to have fixed the situation. At least for now.

If it plays up again I'll post a list from CCleaner

Maybe you should look into why you have this installed and if you actually need it... If its constantly running in the background then its using resources, so if you dont need it then uninstall it ;)
