£100 PSU

Yes its SLI, the ASUS is on loan for a possible review, the Gigabyte is my own.

For X99 and any decent 2way SLI/Crossfire setup you need 1KW, under speccing a PSU I dont think is smart or safe for 24/7 use.

In that case i'm gonna wait and get the EVGA 1000W P2 has it has the Eco mode so when i'm just surfing etc hopefully it will be fanless, i dont mind a fan spinning up when gaming as i will be wearing headphones. Yes it's £55 over budget but i'd sooner be overspecced now than having to buy another psu in 3-4 months.

Also you can but complete cable kits which will be good if i want to do a colour scheme.

strange i remember my corsair hx 750 being whisper quiet but most PSU's these days seem to have at least a couple of bad reviews about noise.

I really hate the cables and lighting on the superflower.

There are plenty of great 1000+ watt PSU I would be happy to own.

I have had a Superflower 1000w Platinum PSU, currently on a Antec HCP 1000 platinum PSU.

I've even had a Corsair RM1000 for a few weeks and it was also ok, but the internals are not up to the same high high quality as a Superflower for example.

CPU-Within the next few months

If your not building your PC this very moment, say 1 or more months ahead this is the secret.

You have in your mind the components you need, and when they come on offer you buy and store in advance. Especially things like cases and PSU's as relative to CPU's and motherboards they don't go out of date.

Currently I have a spare Silverstone FT02, and a Seasonic Platinum PSU, both purchased at discount. With in the next 3 months I know i'll need another machine build and these will be used.

So keep checking this week only and today only, if your PC build is in the next few months something you want will come up at discount.
