< £1000 AMD Build?

Once again thanks for the quick and helpful replies.
Been busy scowering the net and scoping prices for the aforementioned components.

Should I go for the OCZ agility 3 series?
www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-076-OC

It seems to be 30 pound cheaper with the deal going on this week. Although I've read reviews and there seems to be a lot of problems regarding installation and such. Is it worth the risk or should I stick with Crucial?
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-009-CR

Also the Case I'm deciding on is between the Coolermaster 912 and the Silverstone Razer 3

Another point I embarrassingly failed to mention is I need an OS. which I believe is around £70.

Lastly between the 3 suggested builds, there is a variation between the 850w XFX Pro
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-005-XF

And the Antec 750w Modular
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-116-AN

Basically even though I have a £1000 budget I'd like to save where I can for the OS.

1) Is it worth taking the risk of an OCZ Agility 3 series over the Crucial?
2) Is it worth choosing the Silverstone Raven 3 over the Coolermaster 912?
3) What are the drawbacks of choosing a non-modular PSU, and howcome (ignoring the "This week only" deal) the 750w and 850w both originally cost the same?
4) I really don't feel all too comfortable forking out 70-80 quid on a HDD. Would it be wise to buy an older gen HDD for storage? I really don't need that much storage anyway.

Once again I'm open to any suggestions, and am really appreciative of any feedback :D

the the chosen 6970 is 310mm so you to check that the case you choose can fit it, the cm 912 doesn't fit the card.

My old gen hard disks do you mean IDE? new mb don't have the connector and require a add on card. due to the floods you can't get cheaper than £70 currently on ocuk as even the 250gb drives cost £70+, only way to save money is if you have an old sata drive from an old pc

the 'this week only' offers are changing in the afternoon so prices quoted in previous posts will change for the CPU, hard disk etc. Will post an updated spec later to reflect the changes.

Are you sure that the cm 912 won't house it?

By old gen I just meant anything that doesn't require me to fork out 70-100 quid for a HDD. But oh well I think it's unavoidable.

I guess I'll have to reconsider my case choice then.

Any insight as to the PSU issue?

The 912+ has removable hard drive cage, for long GPUs. You will probably meed to remove the top one to fit the card.

but that's almost £20 more than the 912 which the discussion is about.
is the drivebay in the non + removable? seem to show it on the cm website that it is, tho at the bottom it says

VGA Card length :270.0mm but is that with the drive cage fitted?

if the cage can be removed then the 912 will be fine I guess.

if you don't plan on going xfire in the future
