Not sure if to put it here or in the PC section but it is for my TV too..

Looking to buy some speakers, 2 or 2.1 preferably for a small box room. It'll be used for my TV, and connecting to my laptop too, to play music/video through that displayed on my TV.

Any ideas which to go for?

I have got two 25W RCA Surround Sound Speakers i could use, but that would require an amp, and not sure whether theres any other speakers to have a look at.

Thanks for any input.

Also, anyone know of any wall-mountable DVD storage? Need to store 200+ DVD's :(.

Best just going for stereo at that price IMO. You can get an amp for £50-60 and a set of speakers for similar price at well known hifi stores. No going to set the world alight, but should be much better than just about anything else you can get. Of course second hand who knows what you can get.

Yeah, it's for a very small room, so not keen on spending a lot more money on it. Was trying to find one of the Sonic T-Amps and then use some decent quality speakers.

PC ones are the best bet atm i guess? Creative T40/T20s are the ones im looking at.

I have a couple of the Tripath amps, but they cost me the best part of £100. I got a autocoisture, a couple of 41Hz kits, and a charlize 2. I would totally recommend them. But you need to factor in a CASE, a PSU, connectors etc. I wouldn't describe them as cheap. But Value for money? OMG amazing.

IMO generally PC speaker are rubbish :/

Find some KEF speakers, or an older set of missions, or something like that. You should be able to find them for 50 quid or so. They willl wipe the floor with 'pc' speakers.

You may also want to consider a small 3/4" full range driver from wilmslow audio. Ideally suited to a t-amp, amazing sound quality and quite cheap. But youd need to mount it some how.

Yeah but the room is very small, and we do have Mission speakers, but no where for them. I was tempted to mount some surround sound speakers, some of the small back ones.
