I have extra cash on top of the £1300 for an extra monitor, so will be running dual monitors.

So 7950 crossfire with an i7... is this possible?

The 7950s are £190 each, and the i7 is about £80 more than the i5.

If you want to run dual monitors for gaming the 7950 Crossfire will be a very good idea.

To be honest I expect if you called them with an order of £1,300 they'd waive the shipping charge anyway. They're good with this sort of stuff.

The P&P calculator seems a bit odd, you can change 1 small part and the price goes up £10.

Probably the old case triggered it by weight or box size or something.

To keep costs lower the other option is 4770K and a 7950 now, then add a 7950 when possible. 2x7970s is quite a bit extra, but of course will give a lot more power to 3840x1080 gaming.
